2026 Ning Po Race Series

Our 2026 Race Series is named after the infamous pirate ship Ning Po. After a legendary career spanning almost two centuries and the entire Pacific Ocean, the Ning Po was finally towed to Cat Harbor and grounded near Ballast Point, where her old bones rest to this day.

This five race series is a mix of harbor random leg races and coastal races. The inverted start format is designed to be a fun entry point into sailboat racing. We hope to appeal to both seasoned skippers looking for a fun Saturday series, as well as new sailors and crewmembers who simply want an excuse to get out on the water. If you don’t know how to race we will teach you!

Our club’s birthday celebration: The Bucon Feast and Race.

Everyone is welcome at these three fun weekend races. Come out to celebrate the sea the Buccaneer way: racing, fun, friendship, and probably some booze and hamburgers.
